Hello stampers!
Today I have a PINK card, well Sweet Sugarplum isn't technically a pink but it goes nicely together. I always seem to be low on baby themed cards, not sure why but I decided to get some done. I used the "fabulous" {fabulous flamingo} stamp set. A fellow demo in the same group as me is totally obsessed with flamingos and I decided that after studying it multiple times that I must have it too. They do seem to be trendy right now... they are popping up in all the stores.
For my colours I went with the new in colour -powder pink, along with Flirty Flamingo ... very appropriate for stamping a flamingo eh?! and lastly Sweet Sugarplum. I stamped tone on tone for a more subtle muted look that simply stamping onto white card stock.
You can see the nice selection of sentiments within the set, since I was on a mission to create baby cards I thought the tickled pink for you was perfectly fitting for my card.
The sentiment is heat embossed with gold embossing powder... I am all about the gold embellishments and added touches, it's strange because I'm personally more of a silver girl. However, gold looks amazing with the pink tones! As a final detail I added a few of the {Iridescent Sequins} = love!! I think a mother to be would like this card, what do you think? Just a heads up... "we" demos got to see some sneak peeks of the upcoming Holiday catalogue and I pretty much NEED, hmmm... want. Some Christmas stuff and some fall and Halloween stuff (my fav!).
