Thank you from all of us BEETLES & BUGS

Hello stampers!

I have another fun card featuring {Beetles & Bugs} from the Occasions Catalogue. I know bugs are supposed to be icky and gross, but these bugs are super cute to me and they don't bite, sting, crawl or any other things that creepy crawlies do. I made a diagonal striped pattern with these little guys and added a bit of colour with the two-step stamping images, which fit perfectly and look just like I coloured them in with markers!

And the perfect sentiment came from the {One Big Meaning} set from the Annual catalogue (2016-17). It seemed to fit with all the bugs on the card! I hope you like it, cheers!!

Jeffrey is a "Special Reason" for an "Avant Garden" layout

Hello stampers!

So sorry it's been so long, I hope you've all been well. I have had some upsetting family news, and that's why I've been absent for so long. Believe it or not... this is the first time since March 1 that I even opened my computer. I was surprised that it's been so long. A couple of months ago I was asked to make some display samples for a Stampin' Up! event and I decided one of them be a page layout.

I take a LOT, seriously... of pictures of my fur-babies, especially my Jeffrey. Rescuing him and his 4 siblings and Momma was one of the best decisions I have made. I can't believe they will be 5 in a few months. Time sure does fly. I am totally in love with the {Special Reason} bundle and had a bunch of the flowers stamped and die cut, I also had a few of the images from {Avant Garden SAB}. My boy sure does take a good photo, don't you think?

It's hard to believe that he was once a tiny kitten weighing 3.4 lbs. at the time I caught him. He was so tiny - really tiny. He's not tiny anymore. He's a whopping 26 lbs. now and is still my baby, just a big one now. Look at that face, so squishy!

I was going to add his name to this, but then decided to add the stamp from {Avant Garden} that says "Thanks for being you". I then added a partial sentiment from the {Tasty Trucks SAB} set saying "You're the sweetest". He really is. He wakes me up every morning by sitting above my head purring up a storm. Sometimes he even grooms my hair... i.e. licking my hair. It's weird I know... but I love that he's different and unique! Love him so much!!!
