Hello stampers!
What a perfect excuse to take a crafty break to make some cards than a day dedicated to making cards? You've got to love that. I'm sharing a card that I made to celebrate the occasion. I used {Balloon Celebration} for my images & sentiment.
I had to use my favourite stamp image from the set, I'm not even sure exactly what it is? It reminds me of a bicycle tire with the spokes. Anyhoo, I love it and I stamped the entire background with it. I cut it up into strips before mounting them onto basic black card stock.
I went with a simple colour palette, white, black and pool party. The balloons are stamped onto water colour paper with Archival black ink and watercoloured with pool party ink. I added some black twine for the balloon strings and some pretty rhinestones for a bit of bling. I hope you like it, Happy Card Making Day!!
