Hello stampers!
I have a holiday card to share today. Now, if you've checked out my blog before, then you'll know that I love Halloween. Yep, I do!! And that I'm not too fussy on Christmas... gasp! I know. However, I do still enjoy designing and creating holiday themed cards and projects, especially if they are funny. When I was looking... studying the the lovely new pages of the holiday catalogue one set popped out at me... that stamp set is {Jolly Friends}.
The possibilities with this set are endless... a cute Santa, Elf, Fox and even a Moose ... ta boot! And you can dress them up with hats, scarves and glasses... so cute! It also pairs with the {Jolly Hat Builder Punch} which can be bundled at a 10% discount.
Another add-on is the {Mini Jingle Bells}, like I added to Santa's hat with a glue dot - can we say adorable!!? They've got to be the tiniest little jingle bells that I've ever seen. The stamp set does not include sentiments, but I had a fun idea to use the {Labeler Alphabet} from the annual catalogue to add a "HO", "HO", "HO"-lidays... one for each of the Santa's, cute eh?
To decorate the card I used a piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock, which I embossed with the new {Cable Knit Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder}. It gives you a nice, deep impression with only one cutting pad. The designer series paper is from the {Warmth & Cheer paper stack}, I just love the designs in this stack... lots of knits, plaids and other fun patterns. I hope you like it.
