Celebrate Today + Cookie Cutter Christmas for Baby

Hello stampers!

I attended my sister's baby shower this past weekend, in her current hometown. I am sharing the fun card I made for her. Since she's keeping the gender a surprise, it was kept gender neutral. That works for me, no pink necessary ;)

Often baby themed cards trip me up, maybe because I don't make them often.. but once I start, I enjoy the cuteness created. I used the {Celebrate Today} set and {Balloon Framelits Dies} to make the balloon. I stamped and embossed the balloon first with Clear Stampin' Emboss Powder, heat set, then Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder, heat set, then baby with Cucumber Crush Classic Ink, then Clear Stampin' Emboss Powder, and heat set it.

Did you know you could emboss any colour with the newer foam pads? Embossing in every colour!! I sponged a bit of Mint Macaron ink with a sponge dauber to make the clear embossed stars "pop".

Cuteness overload with these adorable bears. I love when stamp sets can be carried over to different occasions like the one I used {Cookie Cutter Christmas}.

I just had to add some Pumpkin Pie since I LOVE ORANGE, plus, she's due in October. I keep telling her to hold it in until Halloween, she just gives me a look like I'm nuts...I was 2 weeks late and I turned out just fine!! The baby could share it's birthday with my anniversary.
