Live, Love, Grow: Triple the Terrariums

Hello crafters! I don't know about you, but I love making terrariums?! They are a nice way to have an indoor garden all year round. I've always loved the look of succulent plants and they were among the first plants I put in my first garden. They add an interest to the garden landscape, Hens & Chicks are my personal favourites. So naturally when I saw the new stamp set {Live, love, Grow}, I had to have it.

For today's card I used the "Masking Technique". It's a really neat technique used to make it appear as though your stamped images appear in front or behind one another.

The How to's:

1. Stamp your images that you want to mask.
2. Fussy cut them out.
3. Add some removable adhesive. *Snail works good, but touch it a few times to remove some of the "stick" as to not tear your project when removing the mask.
4. Place mask over the image you want covered, it will appear above or behind your first stamped image.
E.g. I started with the terrarium on the right, then added a mask over it then stamped the second one and so on.
5. Once you have your image stamped, simply remove the mask and continue until you have masked all that you want masked.

I decided to fussy cut out the three terrariums that I stamped and added them to a fun wood piece of DSP from the {Serene Scenery Designer Series Paper Stack}. This stack has some fun patterns and on the opposite the pages look like photographs like the one I used. Each stack contains 48, 6X6" sheets of paper - I just love paper stacks, don't you?

Well, I hope you like my card. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me.

Thanks for stopping by, happy stamping!
