Hello again! Have you noticed the fun stamp set from the Annual Catalogue called {Birthday Fiesta}? It is so fun, and has coordinating framelits dies, an embossing folder and paper. I think the adorable llama is so freakin' cute, he's hard to resist.
I began by stamping the llama onto Tip Top Taupe card stock and die cutting it out. I stamped one of the half circle images, which is typically used for the banner... but I fussy cut it out and added to the llamas scarf. I then added some cacti stamped directly to my layer. I did add one die cut and popped up for some added dimension.
To add in some more colour, I stamped some of the streamers with Cucumber Crush and Tangerine Tango, with a die cut in Tip Top Taupe.
I don't speak Spanish, so I wasn't sure exactly what mañana meant ... I figured based on the images in the set it had to be a good thing., I of course, had to look it up to get the official meaning.
So the sentiment "Fiesta like there's no mañana" broken down:
Fiesta = party and Mañana = tomorrow
Put them together and you get "Party like there's no tomorrow". I think it sounds much better the way the stamp says it, don't you?! Well, I hope you like it! Have a great one :)
Thanks for stopping by, happy stamping!
Beckie
