Hello crafters! I was playing around with some water colour techniques yesterday when I came up with this pretty card. I used one of my favourite stamp sets that has been carried over called {Watercolour Wishes}. I absolutely love butterflies and stamped images of butterflies can be made into a rainbow of different colours. I made mine with Rich Razzleberry & Real Red! Wouldn't you love to see a real butterfly with those colours?!
As I said I was playing (a.k.a. "Experimenting) with water colours in preparation for an event my Stampin' Up! Upline is running this weekend and I'm one of the presenters. From my experiments came this pretty card!
After I inked up my images, I spritzed them a bunch of times with water. Yep, just water! The colours blended together almost like a painting. I did sponge the edge of my card base with Rich Razzleberry ink and added water with my {Aqua painter} to give more colour to the very white background.
It's really hard to tell in the photo, but I added some {Gold Wink of Stella} to the butterfly. It's super sparkly in person. Some ink splatters and a white heat embossed sentiment and done. So pretty. I hope you like it, have a beautiful day!
Thanks for stopping by, happy stamping!
Beckie
