Today, I have a fun card featuring the new hostess/host stamp set called "I love you sew". I love it sew, I wanted it immediately because of the fun and punny sentiments. I decided to use some of my favourite colours - the 2014-2016 In Colours. These are by far my favourite collection of In Colours, I use them constantly. I love the retro feel they give. I can't say enough good things about these colours, and they are going to be retiring in June........ I hope it's a long 6 months. Any hoo... For my card I used the 4-holed button and stamped it all over an angled piece of Whisper White card stock.
Stamping one colour at a time, ensuring I had even coverage of each colour. I added some fun stitching on the edge of the white. Simple but effective!
The sentiment I love you sew was cute just as it was, but then I decided to stamp and fussy cut out the thread spool image. Since it sort of looked like an "I", I adhered it on top of the "I" with a Stampin' Dimensional. Super cute right?! I hope you like it, enjoy your day!!!
Thanks for stopping by, happy stamping!
Beckie
