Hello... Today, I'm sharing one of the cards we made at last weeks stamp class. The technique is called a "Bendi Fold" card. It looks much more complicated than it is - but I always find it hard to dress it up with out over doing it. I'm happy with how this one turned out.
I used the stunning Winter Wonderland designer series paper for the background of trees with a base of Whisper White Thick Card stock and two front panels of Garden Green.
This style of card is perfect for showing off fun die cuts - I chose the Sleigh Ride Edgelits Dies to accentuate mine. I just had to add a bit of shine with some Gold Cording Trim.
I just love those edgelits, the perfect addition to holiday cards and projects. I am sad that these fab edgelits are not being carried over into the spring catalogue, but that just means more room for "new" stuff!
For a bit more colour I fussy cut out the poinsettia from the equally as stunning Home for Christmas Designer Series Paper - I love the vintage feel to this paper. Another great thing about this card is that it stands up perfect all on its own and lays flat to mail or store. I tried to make it pretty popped up and laying flat. I hope you like it, see you soon!
Thanks for stopping by, happy stamping!
Beckie
