I can't say enough positive things about the new stamp set Wonderland. I know that most people have a stamp set with a tree or forest image, but what's one more?! I was immediately drawn to this set, the samples in the catalogue are so stunning I just couldn't resist. I had some "play time" a couple of weeks ago. It seems like forever since I stamped! Works been so crazy busy lately... Anyhoo... I started by stamping a lot of the tree image with Mossy Meadow Classic Ink. I then sponged some Soft Sky and Tempting Turquoise to make my sky. I did sponge a bit of Mossy Meadow to fill in the gaps in the forest I stamped.
I die cut a circle, and stamped the making spirits bright from the Among the Branches stamp set using Versamark and Gold Embossing Powder on Vellum Card stock. I die cut it slightly larger and adhered to my layer that I stamped with the forest and sponged sky. My intention is to be able to put battery operated tea light behind the open card and the sentiment will glow like the moon surrounded by the forest. You can see what I mean in the last photo on my post. I dressed it up with a bit of Winter Wonderland Designer Vellum and Gold Sequin Trim for a bit more shine.
This is what the card looks like with a tea light (battery operated) underneath the card... it's how I envisioned it to look like. I hope you like it, have a wonderful day :)
