I had a chance to play with some stamp sets that I don't already own at my upline's drop-in for her demonstrators. I really wanted to try out the new background stamp A World of Thanks. It is super quick and easy to make a whole bunch of thank you cards in no time flat! I mean like a few minutes, seriously!
I went for a Mint Macaron card base, which everyone was calling Macaroon. I was initially against the name Macaron, I think it was mainly because I just thought there was a typo. But they are in-fact two different types of cookies - and the Macaron is a French cookie and is so pretty, so I've conformed and call it Macaron since this colour is truly stunning and one of my go to colours. Okay, cookies aside (it's making me crave sweets), I went super simple - just a sort of tone-on-tone look... with some Basic Black in there just cause'! I added a strip of black near the bottom so I could add my sentiment. It's actually one of the "thanks" from the large stamp, but I decided to fussy cut it out and add some Silver Metallic Thread to add a bit of shine. I told you, super simple - but looks like you spent a lot of time!
I've got another super simple card. I used the Garden in Bloom photo polymer stamp set. Which because it's completely clear I was able to get my flower images stamped without stamping over any of the petals. I used Watermelon Wonder, for my card base with Basic Black layers (of course!).
I used the One Big Meaning stamp set for the Thank you on this card - punched out with two of my circle punches. Super easy peasy, and pretty. I hope you like my two cards, enjoy your day :)
Thanks for stopping by, happy stamping!
