I have a fun card appropriate for an occasion like this... Lets Celebrate or should I say SALE-A-BRATE! I used the Celebrate Today. I love this new set from the Occasions Catalogue. I stamped and heat embossed with Pool Party and Crushed Curry before die cutting my balloons out.  

I made a slight boo-boo when stamping, I forgot to use the Stampin' Pierce mat when stamping the balloons and it left a void. But, then I the light bulb went off and I ran with it... and since I liked how it looked, I didn't re-stamp. I decided to add some more glitz and shine with the Encore Metallic inks to the balloons... it kind of give it a nice distressed sort of look. 

I added a bunch of tassels and banners to jazz it up a bit further. I like the look of the metallic gold and silver paired up with pool party and crushed curry. That still wasn't quite finished so I added a few rhinestones for some added sparkle!

My favourite is the 2014-2016 In-Colour Thick Baker's Twine and Button Pack! Probably my favourite selection of in-colours and who doesn't love baker's twine?!! 

Next up is the "For Being You" stamp set. A big, bold THANKS is the focus of this set!

Another stamp set is "Nature's Perfection".

A bunch of pretty flowers and a butterfly, great for all those spring cards. 

A new spin on vellum is this fun, pre-printed vellum. 

It's called "Sheer Perfection Designer Vellum", this paper pack contains 24, 6X6" sheets. 

They have a lovely Basic Gray pattern on each on to provide a lovely contrast.

On the downside, Stampin' Up! announced recently that they have turned off the item numbers for all Blendabilities Markers until they can fix a quality issue. So, unfortunately they are no longer available as a Sale-a-bration FREE item. But, any of the new items are a great replacement!
