I made yet another card using the Painted Petals stamp set. I hope you're not getting sick of it, as I love it, and will most likely use it again!? I opted for a different colour combo this time around. For some reason, not sure why I don't use purple often? It's strange since I love purple. I decided to use Perfect Plum and I thought I'd try some Coastal Cabana and Bermuda Bay mixed with it - and I loved the colours together!!! It's strange how colour schemes come about?!!
I am really loving the angles and wanted to use the Striped Scallop Thinlits Die. I went for a white diecut over the deep Bermuda Bay colour... it really pops!! It still needed something, so I added a strip of Perfect Plum to the bottom and some sparkly Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper on either side of the thinlit diecut. Such pretty paper - and sparkle is never a bad thing!
Even after adding the glimmer and some more purple... it still wasn't quite finished. I made a cute little bow - in Perfect Plum to add a splash of colour using the new Bow Builder Punch. It's super quick and easy to make bows for your cards with this handy tool. I'm a sucker for paper punches anyways, so it was a no-brainer for me!
I hope you like my card, I think it is pretty?! Have an amazingly, amazing day!!
