Starting in less than a week, on January 6, 2015 to be exact - the NEW Stampin' Up! Occasions Catalogue and Sale-a-bration brochure begins! It's always exciting when a brand-new catalogue starts... and the NEW year brings TWO! Chocked full of new loveliness!! I got my first order in mid-December, and my first pick was the Sale-a-bration stamp set "Lotus blossom". I predict that this set will be very popular! It's such a pretty set, and it makes your cards look like you watercoloured the flowers, not stamped them.
It is super easy to use too, since the set is photopolymer... meaning it's completely clear! It is also
numbered so you know exactly which image to stamp first. It's pretty much fool-proof! I decided to keep this card simple - since the lovely flower is the focal point! I just matted two ovals onto a woodgrain embossed background (I used the de-bossed side).
