Good morning!!!!! I hope you're all having a good one too, I've got a super fun card to share with you today. I had this idea in my head and I just had to get it out........ one of my favourite quotes comes from one of my favourite movies, Empire Records this was said by character Lucas "Who knows where thoughts come from, they just appear?" I think it's so true, sometimes they just pop in there........ just like the idea for this card!
It's almost like masking, well, it's the opposite of masking. I started with a basic black layer and added the layers after. I used 4 of the 5 new in-colour, Hello Honey, Blackberry Bliss, Tangelo Twist and Mossy Meadow - I kept the pieces all plain, except the Mossy Meadow one, which I embossed with the Tiny Triangles Textured Embossing Folder and used the de-bossed side. To get the panels to the correct size, I used a ruler and drew a line with a pencil, then trimmed with my Stampin' Trimmer and fit the panel into the space. I kept cutting until the card was finished. The sentiment I chose to use is from the 'Flower Patch' set - I just love this sentiment, which I cut with the Chalk Talk framelits. A nice, bright, cheery and colourful card - it just makes me happy!
