CHEERS... We're in this together!

Hello....... What a beautiful day Tuesday today! I'm usually off on Tuesdays, but I only have one day off this week. Every June we celebrate Senior's Month at my work, we have a bunch of events throughout the month and today is one of them. So not much time to stamp today...I will try to squeeze in a bit since my new goodies are to arrive soon and who can resist new toys to play with?! Not me!! 

 

Well, I do have a super cute card (it's really cute, only a 4x4"). I used the brand new 'In this together' stamp set on page 169 of the new annual Stampin' Up! catalogue. I used the new 'Blendabilities' to colour in the lady using the Rich Razzleberry Assortment for her dress/shoes and the skin tone for her hair and well, skin. The martini is with the Old Olive and I added a bit of Cherry Cobbler and Daffodil Delight to her belt. I used the 'Ovals Collection Framelits, but I opted to cut a 1/4" of the oval off, since the card was so small it wouldn't have looked right - it's hard to see in the photo with the Basic Black cardstock, but it's embossed with the 'Decorative Dots TIEF', the Cheers is from the 'Happy Hour' stamp set. This cute card would be great for a gift for a hostess, with a bottle of wine or sparkling cider maybe?

 

Unfortunately, Blendabilities markers are not available to everyone yet... only demonstrators. Hopefully they will be available at the end of June or early July. If you can't wait until then - Stampin' Up! has cut their starter kit fee in half to $60, for $65 in product and $70 in business supplies. You could select Blendabilities in your kit if you just can't wait until they are available?!!
