Today is the last day of my vacation....and it was quite productive, considering I had the flu for the majority of it! Today is also the very last day to get any products from the 'Celebrate the Everyday' Occasions Catalogue. The card I have today is featuring a couple of the products that will not be carried over to the new catalogue, which goes live tomorrow!!!
The stamp set is called 'Another Great Year', which features a nice main birthday focal greeting, a verse for the inside of the card and some fun birthday related images. I used another item that is not being carried over, the 'Scallops Textured Impressions Embossing Folder', the 'Fringe Scissors' are in the new catalogue, so I'm super excited about that as they are one of my fav's!
To make my card I first cut a piece of Pistachio Pudding Cardstock and embossed it with the 'Scallops TIEF'. I then stamped the greeting with black stazon and coloured the Happy & to you with a Crisp Cantaloupe marker. I cut the image out and matted it onto a piece of Coastal Cabana. I cut a piece of Crisp Cantaloupe and using my fringe scissors cut 3/8" into the cardstock and attached to the bottom of my layer.... and that's it - very quick, and easy - but lovely card nonetheless.
Don't forget the NEW 2014-2015 Stampin' Up! Catalogue goes live tomorrow... the BIG day is finally here!
