So last night was my upline's monthly drop-in, I always enjoy our monthly get-togethers... a bunch of crafty women in one room chatting, stamping, sharing and having fun = a good time!
Well, I must warn you that I've got another card featuring my favourite product.. the hexagon punch! I hope you're not getting sick of them?! I have many more fun projects using the BEST product ever!! I say that with much pride, I really do love it, ask anyone!!
I started my like I did with the 'Backyard Basics' card I made a few days ago by randomly stamping the images from the 'Life in the Forest' set and punching them out so that different parts of the stamp show when punched - kind of like a puzzle. I matted the stamped images onto Basic Black with a small space like before. This time I added a few hexagons in Pumpkin Pie, Tangerine Tango, Bermuda Bay and Crushed Curry for a bit of colour. The 'hi' greeting is from the 'Regarding Dahlias' stamp set.
I really enjoy making this style of card - it does take a while to line up all the images where you want them but the final product is so worth the time it takes. You will probably see me make more cards like this in the future - since I have a mild... obsession with paper punches... Mild?!! I know, who am I kidding right?!
