Hello stampers! We made this beauty at my stamp class last night. We used the gorgeous 'Swallowtail' stamp. I find myself using this stamp constantly, even the digital version of it for many cards and even home decor - I just love it!
To begin, I cut a card base 11" X 4 1/4", scored at 5 1/2". Layers of Pumpkin Pie cut at 4" X 5 1/4" and Whisper White cut at 5" X 3 3/4". I took my Swallowtail stamp and 3 ink colours - I chose Strawberry Slush, Pumpkin Pie and Crushed Curry. Ink up your sponge dauber and apply the ink to your stamp, use the next colour and so on until your entire image is inked. Give a couple of good breaths to the stamp to re-activate the ink and stamp your image onto your paper.
I added some watermarks from the 'Gorgeous Grunge' stamp set in Crumb Cake for some added dimension. My sentiment is from the 'Yippee Skippee' stamp set - a favourite of mine! I absolutely love this technique, I done many with this stunning stamp with a variety of colours, from all blues to a complete rainbow... and all produce a beautiful stamped image and no 2 are exactly alike.
