At least I can still make cards!
Last night, our Canadian Football Team - The Hamilton Tiger Cats were playing in the Grey Cup, so my husband was otherwise occupied and since I have no interest in watching football, I got to tidy up my craft room after the tornado of paper scraps, glitter, and just stuff everywhere from crafting for the bazaar. I am happy to say that it is all organized again, the way I like it. Anyhoooooo.......
I had a chance to make a few things after my mess was re-organized - here's one of the cards I created.
I used the 'Joyful Chrismtas' stamp set which is onsale until December 2nd for 30% off (clear mount only!). This is one of my favourite from the holiday catalogue. I stamped the image in versamark and embossed with cherry cobbler, heat set and sponged to add the colour. I stamped the leaves in Garden green ink and sponged. I stamped 2 poinsettias, and I cut the larger, then smaller to get a more 3D effect. I coloured the center of the flower with the white gel pen. I diecut the two largest from the ovals framelits and used the Season of Style DSP stack for the striped background.
Stampin' Up! Supplies Used:
Joyful Christmas [wood: 131802 - $27.95; clear: 131805 - $20.95]
Ovals Collection Framelits [129381 - $32.95]
Season of Style Designer Series Paper Stack [132181 - $8.50]
Hope you like it :)
